I was born and raised in Manhattan and went to college in the glorious New Orleans and I studied in Paris after Katrina, that bitch, came to NOLA for a visit. I just returned back to New York where I live with my dog Brutus and am a busy bee working, attending cooking school, and writing this blog. You could say I have a lot on my plate!

I am an avid reader of Storing Up For Winter, and believe you me, I'm quite literally practicing what you are preaching. I truly love your web log, and your witty posts and affinity for anything deep-fried have inspired me. I will continue to Store up for Winter (I'm almost in career-topping shape!) and phase out my tailored fall wardrobe in exchange for more ensembles of the elastic-waisted variety--very fetching this winter.
